Terms & Conditions

Last updated: March 2026

Short version: Use our tools fairly, respect our intellectual property, and understand that free tools are provided as-is. All sales are final — please read the payments section before purchasing.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing csscove.ca or using any CSS Cove extension or tool, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

2. Our Services

CSS Cove provides browser extensions, web tools, and related content ("Services"). Some Services are free; others are available via paid licence. The specific features, pricing, and licence scope for paid products are described at the point of purchase.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of Services.

3. Licence & Permitted Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our Services for personal or internal business purposes. You may not:

— Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any CSS Cove tool or extension without written permission.
— Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify our software except where permitted by applicable law.
— Use our Services in any way that violates applicable Canadian or international law.
— Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of our Services or related systems.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on csscove.ca — including the logo, design, written content, code, and imagery — is the intellectual property of CSS Cove unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

If a CSS Cove extension is open-source, the applicable open-source licence (as stated in its repository) governs use of that code specifically.

5. Payments & Refunds

Paid products are sold through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. By purchasing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service. All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.

All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of our products and the complexity of payment processing, we are unable to offer refunds. Please review all product details carefully before purchasing. If you have a question about a product before buying, contact us at csscove@protonmail.com.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use our Services at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, CSS Cove shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our Services — including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.

Our total cumulative liability for any claim related to our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or CAD $50, whichever is greater.

8. Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. GitHub, Chrome Web Store, Lemon Squeezy). These are provided for convenience only. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content or practices of any third-party sites.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
